This is the home of the DuPont State Forest and the Pisgah National Forest, land which was bequeathed to the State by the Vanderbilt Family. There are over 250 known major waterfalls in the county, many of which are a short distance from this home. If you are someone who likes to enjoy the pleasures of outdoor activities, this is the perfect vacation home for you. Situated just a short distance from the Pisgah National Forest and then about a 10 minute hike up the trail, you can see one of the most beautiful water falls you can imagine. If your preference is a quiet vacation, you will enjoy that this home is on a quiet country lane and has a nice deck outfitted with table, chairs and a hammock.
Day trips are easy from this address. Asheville and the famed Biltmore Home are about 40 minutes to the north, the "Entrance To The Forest" and the Wal Mart shopping center are 5 minutes away and you'll only be 15 minutes from Downtown Brevard and the world renown Brevard Music Center.
